Wing Walls (Upstream & Downstream) are specially designed reinforced concrete retaining structures used at the inlet and outlet of culverts, bridges, and drainage structures. These walls are manufactured using high-strength precast concrete to provide stability, guide water flow, and protect soil from erosion at both ends of hydraulic structures.
The upstream wing wall helps direct incoming water smoothly into the culvert or bridge opening, while the downstream wing wall safely guides outgoing water and prevents scouring and soil erosion.
